Learning by Playing at School​

​

Our 4K program is a play based learning program.  I thought you may enjoy some pictures of your children learning and playing!  Enjoy!

My 5 Senses​

​

As students played in the centers this week, I am beginning to hear them form friendships, full story lines to their play time, and more.  They are taking reponsibility for their cleaning and really doing a great job!  We studied the 5 senses and I am happy to report everybody tried all 5 senses with all the materials!  Great job!

Apples​

 

We learned about apples, the letter I and had lots of fun playing in our centers.  I love to see my students using materials correctly and then learning from them!  They are doing great!

Fire Safety​

 

We learned about fire safety, firefighters, fire trucks, and more!  We got a visist from firefighters, practiced getting out of our school safely, learning how to use the phone in an emergency, and acting as firefighters in dramatic play.  Students did a great job this week even though fire safety can be intimidating.

Halloween

 

We played, we discovered, and we had Halloween Fun!
 
We also celebrated Red Ribbon Week and had some fun dress up days.
 
We also had a fun time at the 4k Fall Family Fun night!
 
What a busy week!
